Police are appealing for information after a shot gun was stolen from the boot of a car parked in Bedminster.
Sometime between 11pm on Tuesday, June 28, and 5am on Wednesday, June 29, someone broke into the Vauxhall Vectra parked in Aylesbury Road.
A Beretta 686 over and under barrelled shot gun was stolen in a green sheep-skinned sleeve from the vehicle.
Anyone who has been offered the gun for sale or witnessed the theft is asked to call police at Bishopsworth police station on 0845 4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
