I love my SR but if only one gun I would want mag fed pellets and recoiless not 'cos I can't hold a springer but it would have to hold it's zero both when held and rested.

If Theoben did an SLR98 on a sled, that'd do.

the difficulties of hand loading and cocking in the cold, dark or when lying prone makes a multi shot PCP my choice.

Of course in a post Armageddon scenario the springer's self containment comes back into it's own.

Voted PCP

I love the "no recoil "which allows you to follow the pellet path striking the target when the light is right. I have never been able to do this with a springer

I can follow the shot with my HW90 - but then it's a gas-ram and so has less recoil than a spring gun and i don't know if you count it as a "springer"!

I've got 3 springers and AHarrier, love them all but the simplicity of the springers beats the pcp hands down, no air bottles, no magazines etc....

I've voted Springer because my ProSport gives me the most fun per shot of any of my guns.
