Consumer rights question

If you was to purchase a product. Have a part break on it not coverd under the waranty, spend 3 weeks waiting for the parts to come into general release, then find the manufacturers are recalling all unsold products.
What are your rights?

This will come under the Sale of Goods Act. Whatever it was you bought must be 'fit for the purpose for which it was bought'. As it has been recalled, clearly this is not the case.

The shop I got it from are denying the recall. But two other shops have said about the recall.

It might be that the shop you bought it from haven't yet been advised of the recall. If the 2 shops were info'd by, for example, post, then turn on the charm and ask for a copy. Or alternatively, contact the manufacturer direct.

I suppose that you'll have to weigh-up the cost of all this poncing about against the cost of the u/s bit - only you know this!
