lol like them, you cant beat them, yeh sure they werent made for lamping but i cant hav sumone dissing maglites when in actual fact there like the best make ever for THEIR PURPOSE lol not LAMPING!! just hope thats all cleared up, u cant dis them for sumi nthere not made for lmao if i had a poutn for everyone who dissed maglites, id have 1 pound i thank you!

If maglites are so good why have you been through so many of them ? Maglites are cheap and cheerful , but if you want a proper combat tested torch which can be mounted to a weapon you need a Surefire torch.Forces worldwide use these badboys and they never fail.

ive been throug so many becos i started waaay ta the bottom and kept upgrading and upgrading, and at the end of the day there not made to be mounted on bloody air rifles are they so yah cant give them a bad rap cos they do what they say and that wud be, being a really good torch!

The only reason police use them is that there more effective than a baton.

Over rated rubbish.

Maglights are built well, but are crap at being torches.
Dim light, weak bulbs and short-life battery life let them down.

There are far better torches on the market.

I totally agree on that, as you probably know.
The larger sizes even make decent baseball bats. But as a torch, sorry! I use a 3 Euro Duracell rubber coated torch these days and it will beat almost any Maglite as a torch.
Maglites are dick extensions, not torches
