OK. I did it. I just bought the QB78. Hope it works! I'll keep you posted. Thanks to EVERYONE for their help. Emotions ran a little high back there!

Good luck with it Sam. If you do a search on the www I think there's a few sites about fettling the QB78. Make it smoother, quieter & more reliable. Also do yourself and any quarry you hunt a favour. get used to the gun and it's abilities before you try shooting live quarry.

Maybe because you asked experienced shooters for advise and then completely ignored it

quite an amusing thread.
just read some sales blurb for this pea shooter :-

Quote:
This is not suitable for hunting but could kill a rabbit at under 15 metres.
i suppose it could, stalking it would be easy, the rabbit would be flat on it's back laughing it's bollix off.

Oo Oo.... forgot to mention.....

It works out at just under 15,000 Foot pounds at the muzzle.... (yes that is fifteen thousand!)

Is this enough for KILLING STUFF like squirrels or do I need more?????

Also... do you think it'll fall within the legal limit or do I need a FAC????

Just a bit worried that the boys in blue might get a little concerned that I am mostly interested in KILLING STUFF!
