Default 1st 2008 bunny bash

i guys i have just come in from my first bunny bash of this year on my farm shoot
the bunnys were wiped out late last year by mixie, i had only seen a few during the winter but decided to leave them till this time of year. they are back now in good numbers so today i decided to harvest some, i set up my hide between two of the warrens about 40 yds from each warren.I was using one of my fac air rifles the daystate air ranger .22 at 30fpe, after 30--40 mins the rabbits emerged only 2 to start with so i let them settle down feeding ,sure enough they were soon joined by another 6 rabbbits , i was only going to take the half grown bunnies and leave the small ones for later. i picked out one for my 1st shot a 45 yds bis mag straight in the back of its head, over the next 2 hrs 1 shot 5 more bunnies all head shot , there are no runners when a 30fpe bis mag wacks them in the skull, so an excellent days hunting i look forward to many more,

hi les i don,t use the rapid all the time i take the pick of
1---mk-1 rapid -.22--40fpe
2--airranger.22---30fpe
3-daystate mk-3 r/t-.177--18fpe
4-daystate harrier--.22---25fpe
depends which one i fancy on the day, as for photo,s i personally don,t picture dead prey ,thats just a personal view and no criticism of those who do, enjoying the hunt and the countryside rings my bell.

Im curious as to how your FEO allowed so many FAC air rifles on your FAC- why would you need 3 x .22 air rifles??????????????

3 x .22
1x .177 all on ticket?

hi, les the feo allowed me to start with 2 guns the airranger .22 and the .177 mk-3 i then applied for a .22 for a nv permanet scope i was granted this and then along came a deal for the harrier.22 with a air bottle and bag and a large supply of pellets all for 250 pounds i asked for a variation and was surprised to be granted it, thats the history , i shall be selling the harrier soon and possibly the air ranger. i am also looking for more permissions so i can apply for a .17 hmr.
