So what is a V-Mach and a scope maximiser? Ta
I'm in much the same position mate, I was out for 15 years and came back when I got some shoots about 2 months ago.

Basically, a V-Mach kit is a 'tuning kit' that you fit yourself as oppossed to sending it away to be done. A scope maximiser is a rubber tube type piece of kit that slips over the eye end of your scope and has an eye cup that you look thorugh, just makes looking through a scope that bit easier with less distractions.

The maximiser takes a bit of getting used to but it's worth it IMO. I'm finding I don't have to squint my left eye so much now with the maximiser on and you also get to see how clear the optics are on your scope as there is no other light entering your eye. I'm yet to try it in low light but I've been told that will improve too.
