Question Trigger on an SLR-98 .22

I really like everything about the gun except for the trigger.

The trigger is one thing that Idon't like and I hope someone can tell me how to fix it.

When I'm pulling thru the first stage it gets hung up somewhere in the middle of the first stage. It is not smooth and sometimes just pulling thru the kind-of grind burr or something, i can accidently pull right thru the second stage and pull the shot??!!

is there a way for a DIY fix?

Thanks The Greek

I would ring theoben up and ask for info.
did you recieve the manual to go with the rifle ?
It should have full intructions on how the adjust the trigger safely !
In your profile it does not say where your from - so i can't suggest a good gunsmith if you don't feel your up to it !
You could always send the rifle back to Theoben for adjustment
