I shoot in a field where there are always hundreds ( maybe loads) of bunnies at any time of the day or night. Went there yesterday evening and What !!!.. no bunnies... Waited for an hour and nothing. I'm good but I have not shot all of them (yet).
Answers please .... why no bunnies yesterday evening?
Regards
Seriously, they may be used to the sound of your engine, one of my shoots seemed to dry up untill I went in a friends car, suddenly there were dozens again.
Think about it, your car will smell different to others, as well as sound different, they associate your car with missing friends and bugger off sharpish.

more than likely a fox mate, but if your car can be seen by them they may associate it.........
Believe it or not some evenings when I've been there I've watched a fox wander around within less than 100 yards of the bunnies. They stay very alert to him but don't dash off like nutters.
Before I saw this I would have thought just the smell of a fox would make them bolt.
