My Rapid is spot on!!!!!!

Blatted 7 crows in about 8 minutes last night!!!

on connecting with the 1st one, it kinda sat in the tree and drew a frenzied like swarm of at least 50 beasts.......Needless to say a few landed to have a closer look.....I took the largest every time......The shot was 63yrds....Despite all the excitment followed by palputations I still managed to get 7 beauts!!!

I aimed for the beak.....the shot tend to hit just below in throat which is an immediate kill no matter what size crowie

to quote my Mrs, " Christ their like chickens"

....wish they were...Organic as well!!!

Mr Fox had a good supper last night....checked the "burial ground " this morning.....ALL GONE!!!

To summarise Rapids are just superb......I'm beginning to understand when people say " boringly accurate"....saying that I was resting for ALL shots...

Great high adrenalin fun!!! Its getting a bit addictive....

Nice shooting Max.....

I feel the same way about my Mk1....took 3 rabbits with Les the other day all prone and as fast as i could operate the bolt and bring the scope back onto aim. Two just slumped to ground other did a perfect 10 double back flip and to move no more........lovely accruate guns.

I agree they are cracking rifles but I find most decent pre-charge rifles to be as accurate as each other. The fun is learning 'hold over', people who think they are boring must be shooting at fixed range.

63 yards!!! thats a hell of a range for crows. Well done.

Thx Col, i have to say the BSA barrel really does make all the difference..

very light choking........much better than the anshutz......and a lot cheaper!

60yrds = 1 mildot , windless condition...bobs you uncle and F's your A

As long as I'm resting, its very rare to miss a 60yrder....there again the real skill is when your prone!

I get most reward from crows and you need stealth of your best degree....I could have hit a lot more if I were able to get the X hairs on quick enough....they were so wound up, they didn't notice their chums being popped

Crows are an extremly rewarding kill....just don't fancy crow pie
