Default Lamping

I have bought a deben tracer lamp so that i can shoot at night. Do i need an nv scope to use with this or will my normal scopes be ok.

you will be better off useing a scope with a large objective lense bigger the better56mm bloody ok

50mm scopes are good but 56mm exellent at night. try using a scope optimiser too ( you know the rubber tubes that fit on the eye piece)

You may want to try different colour filters as well, as some shoots may have been lamped with just white beam making the rabbits lamp shy.

I have a red filter so will try that. Do you think 4-9-40 will be up to the job?
