when i get a chance im going to take a strole up to the farm very close to me and ask if they would liek pest control, but what if the farmer says no thank you, do you think its worth saying ok then....may i have permission to shoot on ur land sir??? worth a try u think???

If he says no to pest control it's very unlikely he'll let you have permission to shoot on his land.

It is the same thing. You're still using his land to shoot over.

If you do don't just turn up in your kit carrying your gun. Go smartly dressed bringing with you your certificate of shooting insurance and if your a member of a club your membership card.

oh yes, definately wudnt take my air rifle the 1st time, any one knows that thats a big no no lol,
