divers bottle or stirrup pump

ok here we go can any one . tell me if there is a different ,noticable, power differance with a divers bottle to a stirrup pump when filling up your air rifle....and whats the differance between a 232 and a 300 bar bottle. i think my gun has a 300 psi preferance.i so beleave i have a pf falcon 25. and am sum what thinkin its henderin my the performance with a stirrup pump .can any one shar the light on my subject.please

When filling your rifle from a Divers Bottle or a Pump, there will be no power difference from the rifle. The rifle will be filled to the same pressure whatever filling device you use.

Note: If you over fill the rifle from what Falcon tell you, you will reduce the power if anything.

200/232/300bar Bottle. The numbers donate the presure of the bottle when fully filled.

In theory a 300 bar bottle will give you considerably more fills if you apply the perfect gas laws i.e. a 300 bar 10 litre bottle should contain 3000litres of air.

However, the perfect gas laws start to break down around 220-230 bar so you don't get that full 3000 litres.

However, that's all academic, for an airgunner who doesn't want to go to the dive shop too often a 300 bar cylinder is probably a better bet if you can get it filled to 300 bar. Some shops can't do gas to that pressure and even if they can, it can be a long, slow process to get the pressure up and then, when it cools back down, you still won't have 300 bar.

No, it wasnt a waste of time youlll get considerably more fills with your rifle. Whats your rifle fill pressure?

There is a considerable power difference::::: stirrup pump needs voluminous biceps and solid spine, whereas scuba needs a slight wrist rotation (except bottle carriage)

stirrup pump makes you wanna shhot more vermin as you have had to work for it.

just do it a few hrs before you go out.
