Default BAM 50 or 51 airguns

Does anybody have any experience with the BAM pcp rifles (model 50 and 51)? They are dead cheap!

Ciao,

Marc

wow....now that is cheap..... PCP for under £170

Found this if it's any help......

The chinese BAM 50 and 51 are Ultratec's. They are a modernized version modeled around the Daystate Hunter rifle and are extremely powerful. Quality is good and price is even better. The only draw back is that spares and accessories are hard to obtain and secondly that there is no repeater option available, only single bolt action. The Ultratec's ship standard at 1000fps which is tested using a 8.5 grain 1.77 pellet. They are however extremely upgradeable. I had my BAM 51 "which has the thumb hole stock" super tuned for a 10.5 grain crossman heavy pellet and it consistantly blasts these at approx 1030fps (Chronoghraph tested). Its almost to powerful to believe! Only expect about 10-12 shots per fill at this power though. If you're looking for a small game hunting air rifle with serious power then you can't do much better then the BAM 50/51 from Ultratec unless you are willing to spend allot more. The only air rifle I know of with similar power is the Ripley which costs around 1000 pounds - sterling!.

They ate a bit 'thrown together' but i guess at £170 they still are a bargain.

I've been told their power level is very unreliable, which is why a lot of UK suppliers are reluctant to stock them, if this isnt true then a PCP at 170 quid is a bargain
