Thanks , I could probably easily knock a few up on the lathe , got plenty experience myself and the use of a workshop if ever I need it.
Think I might I might leave the port transfer if the difference would only be marginal.

If anyone can recommend a decent tuning kit for a tx200 HC id be much obliged.
as i took the time too get a link at least check the whole of the site
they do do fac kits.
here is what you need,

V-Mach Rifle Tuning Kits
12 ft lbs Power Kits
For air arms Rifles

V-Mach Rifle Tuning Kits
We are delighted to welcome back one of the most popular after market improvement products produced for air rifles.
Late 2005 saw the sad demise of Webley and along with it their reputable custom house, Venom. The good news is that Steve Pope is now back in business producing the tuning kits that his name is synonymous with - and we are the official northern agents for them!
Smoother, quicker, sweeter, more accurate, more refined, better mannered....
Just a few of the descriptions customers give us of their rifles after fitting a V-Mach tuning kit. A V-Mach tuning kit is probably the best sixty five quid you can spend on a spring rifle to improve its performance.
The kit comprises a F1 Powr-Lok spring with a PTFE top hat piston guard and spring guide, Powr-Pulse piston seal, pre-compression washers for power adjustment if required, Moly gun grease and Moly gun oil.
The kit is supplied with fitting instructions, and is a viable DIY project for those with a technical mind and some experience of servicing guns. Otherwise, V-Mach recommend employing a gunsmith to fit the kit.

when something is not broken leave well alone .have you put the gun across a crono ?this would be the first thing to do .as long as it it doing 11 ftld i would let it alone next thing do you get any nasty noises ? is it overly lively ?shoot a mates gun see how they compair .try a strip degrease and relube be for any thing that costs money i have about 35 spring guns and find that a tx and a 97 shoot nice straight from the box.if you realy want to part with good cash for no reason i can sell you a stone for stone soup for £60.00

Do NOT touch transfer port, big mistake. Do NOT use silicone lubes inside a springer, big mistake. Contact Bonnie & Clyde on BBS site for tuning kit, comes with spring, guides, spacing washers, and complete set of special lubes. This bloke knows what he is doing and will give advice. Also, TX200 is one of the easiest guns to work on.
