The one thing I will point out though mate is if you really don't need a take down rifle for a specific reason I'd get an S410 carbine instead, you'll get more shots per charge & it's a lot more reasonably priced, just a thought.

Re: Air Arms S410 TDR (take down rifle)
I bought one when they first came out.
It was seriously under powered, circa 7 ft/lbs or so. The reservoir was rusty on the inside and it was shooting all over the place. However, I stripped it and sorted it out and it is now shooting perfectly; though I dont get many chances to shoot it.
It is a cracking rifle and virtually silent with a Weihrauch silencer on it. Accuracy is, well as you would expect, awesome. Shot count is not great and also be aware that it has one hell of a powercurve. I get 35 shots from 160 Bar down to 100 Bar. Over above those levels, shots are low!

Let me get this straight , your purchasing a new rifle because you like the carry case ?! lol
In my opinion the TDR is a bit of a gimmick , my mate had one and I wasnt all that impressed.Like the other guy said it was pretty underpowered and didnt look half as pretty as it did in the magazine.
I honestly cant see the need for a take down type air rifle unless your shooting somewhere illegal and need greater concealment to and from the area.

Buying a gun on aesthetic alone, I agree is rather foolish.
However a TDR does have its purpose, wether for ease of carry or compactness. To state that you can see no viable reason for having one other than to shoot illegally is beyond contempt. I would retract that statement immediately if I were you.

Why ? , I have a right to my opinion. Im not condoning shooting illegally but the ability to take a rifle down and stash it in a sports bag is certainly going to appeal to people who do. If you want something compact you could get a carbine , better still a pistol. I stand by my statement that there is next to no need to have a take down style air rifle.Other than the fact they look kind of cool.
