Default Zero Range for FAC

Right guys what range do you recomend for Zeroing my 30ft lb rifle .22 ? When i zeroed my .177 12ft lb i used two zero points 13 yds (mtrs ) and 30 yds (mtrs), Airgunner gave me that advice and it worked well..... RSVP i will be going out Saturday morning if all goes well....

Observing a colleauge at our club who has a 30ft/lb rapid, he sets it to shoot about 1/2 inch high at 25metres with AA Field. Hope this helps.

Steve, using AA552's you can zero at 28-30yrds and the pellet will fly completely flat out to 55/60yrds.......This is suitable for most quarry unless
your one of the seriously long range gang.....

Not sure what pellet to use in standard barrel...I converted mine to 20" BSA which makes a worthy difference....Mags/ 552's seem to be most popular!

IF you use daystate FT at 16 grains, then your velocity should be around 280 mps (915 fps)
With a scope height of 40 mm you get a optimal zero at 37 meters (40 yards)

Cheers guys, zeroed rifle at 30yds today used H&N Baracudas seems to be about right. Will try live quarry tomorrow..... will let you know how i gwt on.

Thanks Les ! I have a few photos on my phone but Fotango is closing so will try some other way to get them on to show you guys. Manage Attachments at the bottom wont work for me ????????? Can a MOD sort this out.......

I zeroed mine in at 40 mtrs,with AA FIELD , {aucppell were hitting the target dome out {tumbling?}Seems a good choice of pellet,and with one of LG scopes,11 clicks up and i can use biz mags
I am still punching paper with this beast as it seems a tad front heavy,so i will get it set up and prhaps go for the 400cc bottle,how you finding yours dekit m8
