Default Bad luck

Before I had my FAC, I always wanted a Theoben eliminator but couldn't afford the £600.00 price for a new one. Then I was offered a eliminator second hand with 4-16 by 40 scope for £270.00 great I thought had it for a 6 month got no accuracy with any pellet I tried so I sent it for a service.

Dealer says to me do you want good or bad news? I say good. He says well the stocks fine. Then I say whats the bad news? He says the gam ram unit was nackered, rear brace pin bent and other repairs needed. He said it was dangerous to shoot and would cost more than it was worth to repair. So I had to scrap it I only got a £70.00 refund what a waste of £200.

Just my luck.

I won't I have already ordered a replacement in the form of a FAC Diana 54 which the manufacturer is making as powerfull as possible. You can't beat 24-30 ft.lbs airguns.

No it's a spring gun totally recoiless. I don't know about cocking effort but thankfully the sidelever is rachet so you can cock it a bit at a time. The american version is so powerfull it needs a new spring every 500 shots. But thats the americans they seem to know nothing about metal fatigue and stress. Not many .22 can fire pellets at 900fps (american version).

I know your American it was just a bit of fun, if you read the begining of the thread you see eliminator was broken because of excess pressure in the strut. When it went back to Ben Taylor he said that over pressurizing guns was an American problem caused by their desire to own the most powerfull break-barrel possible.

Oh yeah whats it like to shoot a real pistol?
