My falcon project

So finally got my hands on my falcon. Now in all honesty I thought I was buying a 12 and I got a 19. In fact compared to my vermi it's a musket!! Is this another run of bad luck???

Not really. I'm surprised that the balance is a LOT better than expected. It's nose heavy which I don't normally like. But it does seem to work with this gun. The barrell is a tad more battered than I would have thought despite pics, well used and unloved would be a better description.

I bought this as a project gun. I got what I paid for! But in all honesty a DIN filling adapator and hose, 2 mags, mounts, sad scope and pellets I don't feel I've been ripped off. It's tempting to take a hacksaw the extra length but putting it to the shoulder makes me want to give it time. I have my girly .177 vermi for wandering around. I think this fits the .22 lay up project rifle I'd like to get into.

It's a long gun and something I wouldn't normally pick up as a first choice. But I'd have to compare it to a FN12 to truely see because as it's outside if of usual choice I don't have a lot to compare it with except my daystate and the balance does feel better.

As I say it's a project to while away my time constructively. But I feel Mr. Fudd should be lubing his lathe as we speak. Before and after shots as of the weekend guys cos I'm off to bed.

I wasn't missing the postie a second time!!!
