there's so much disturbance to cock a springer that inserting a pellet hardley matters. I found with the rimfire that a 5 shot mag wasn't enough, you wanted a ten shot, then you wanted a spare as filling up the mag was a chore etc etc.........
PCP is fantastic, I'm not knocking it, I've never tried it, I can see the virtues but not enough cash
ANother point is that if you can shoot well with a springer a PCP ought to be a pop.
