Does the FEO go to the different bits of his land
Okay, seems your a little confused It's not a hard process or a hard process to grasp.

You fill out your forms. You ask your referees to fill out their forms. You both send you forms to the police. The Firearms licensing dept. then processes your application and checks the information you have provided for truth and accuracy. Once done the FEO (firearms enquiry officer) will come and see you, contact your referees and if the named land you have provided has not been cleared for firearm use, he will contact the landowner and first confirm that you do have permission (will do this anyway) and then request a visit to assess the suitability of the land (may do this even if the land has been 'passed').
If everything checks out you will be granted an FAC.

Simply, not complicated really.
