To the Anti (as we affectionately call them) protesting, and campaigning for a 'cause' is a pastime in its own right. Their interest in the chosen subject quickly fades once they have achieved their perceived victory - Remember Greenham common? What about the Newbury bypass, or the culling of seals.

By using a distorted version of the facts to suit their own end, they then gain support from a section of the general public; those gulible enough to believe their diatribe, or those ignorant of the issue and its ramifications.

I cannot abide those who make it their hobby, and seek pleasure in removing the rights of others to go about their ligitimate business, sport, pastime, or whatever.

Once their campaign against the hunt is won, their enthusiasm over this issue will quickly fade. They will, all of a sudden, become life-long and passionate supporters of the league against cruelty to Fish, or passionate supporters of the 'Gun-free society is a safe society' brigade.

The hunt should stay - its part of our heritage. Is it a cruel death for the Fox? I don't know, and I don't care until more pressing issues are addressed by our government - such as the cruelty of patients dying in the corridors
of our crumbling hospitals.
Once we have addressed all the issues relating to unjust cruelty to Humans,
I might be get around to finding out more about the hunt, and whether it is cruel to Vermin.
