Default Re: Ghillie suit

IMO, it is a bit over kill to use a Ghillie Suit for hunting.

Normal camoflauge (not DPM camo) like Mossy Oak, Realtree (And its many varieties) trousers and jacket will be more than adequate.
You can also by a cheap'ish' camoflauge mesh suit, of which i have, this gives you mesh trousers, a jacket, gloves, and a headnet/veil. Note that this is thin cotton mesh, and is not waterproof. You will also need to wear warm clothes underneath for the cold months. A headviel is important as it sheilds your eyes and bright face from your quarry's L.O.S and doesnt startle them, think of your face with no headveil on out hunting, as a big white blob on a black background.

A mesh suit like the one described will set you back £30-£40, whilst goretex trouers will set you back anything from £50 upwards alone.

www.tonyscamo.co.uk is a good place to start.
You will find the mentioned trousers and mesh suit on this page;
