Re: Hunting and pest control
I agree that CO2 has hidden costs Dave, but as I would be using this gun exclusively for hunting, fifty or sixty shots per co2 cannister should serve me well, shouldn't it?
I really like the idea of not having to cock the gun the whole time. I used to have a break barrel air rifle when I was 19, and it just felt like a bit of... well not a toy exactly, but lame that I had to keep cracking it open, putting a pellet in and so on for every shot. To just slip something in the breach (which I know you can also do with underlevers) and be able to fire is very appealing.
I like the kit I supplied the link to earlier. I just can't find out any info on its killing capability.
On the other hand, if anyone knows of any other co2 models (or maybe underlever jobbies) that are better, gimme a hint and I can get searching for deals. But bear in mind I just wanna use this gun as a tool for killing. I'm not into stats, and smoothness, and what's good for pros, and named things. I want something that will do the job. Mainly for pigeons, hopefully for the odd rabbit too.
