I would suggest you look in your loacal free advertiser you have a kent frre-ads that allows the sale of air rifles does'nt it? if none in it put a wanted ad. there are loads of old good quality rifles around for your price. are you looking at open sights? or do you want a scope as well? You could as people have said try and save a little harder. if your lust for game is so great in the mean time I'm sure there are plenty of shooters in your area willing to forward you the odd cadaver instead of burying or burning it.
The rifles you are looking at are chinese beginner level plinking rifles take no notice of the comics as they are written by dealers who would suggest a catty for hunting if they thought it would sell more stock (In fact they already have done a feature on such a foray!
