I just like the taste of game and think that if I'm willing to eat it, I should be willing to catch it too. So if you could just recommend me some guns and not get all preachy that'd be great.

Seriously, does anyone know where's a good place to get second hand guns - that Lightning thingy does look ideal but the price new is just too dear.

Fair comment and it seems maybe an apology is in order from me,

I apologise.

But your last post did indicate that way. You may think that it was preachy but maybe you just don't understand some of the plant pots that these forums get, we, as frontline airgun forum need to show responsibility towards our sport, you still need to have respect for the quarry you are about to take a shot at.

A good place to start looking for a good 2nd hand gun would be these forums, where the people do take their sport and their rifles seriously. Most of the people on these forums treat their rifles better than their wives, so a 2nd hand rifle will be as good as new in most cases.
